UPDATED: Oborevwori Trounces Main Rival Omo-Agege As INEC Declares PDP Winner Of Delta Poll

Delta State governor-elect, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori

Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Sheriff Oborevwori has defeated his main rival, Ovie Omo-Agege to win the March 18, 2023 Governorship election.

Announcing the results, INEC Returning Officer, Prof Georgewill Owuneri declared that Oborevwori polled a total of 360, 234 to dust Omo-Agege who scored 240, 229 and the LP Candidate who polled 48,047.

Intriguingly, the APC governorship candidate grabbed just four local government areas of the state, while the PDP Candidate won in 21 LGAs with 360,234 votes.
