Oborevwori casting his vote at Oha One, Unit 33, Osubi, Okpe local government area





Governorship candidate of People Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta state, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and his running mate, Chief Monday Onyeme, voted at Oha One, Unit 33, Osubi, Okpe local government area and at Ibabu, Unit 11, Ward 5, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of the state respectively.

Oborevwori after casting his vote, he said; “I did my voting by 11.20 am, after the initial delay, but we thank God that voting has commenced and hopefully we are sure of victory because we have worked very hard as a party.

“For all we have done in Delta state, and as you can see here, we are sure of victory for Atiku/Okowa, the Senate and House of Representatives. They know that we have done very well and they should consider our party, the PDP. The process is peaceful and I hope it is going to be peaceful all through. INEC has tried, but should improve on what they have done now, the timing is very important. They should improve on the timing”.

Onyeme, accompanied by his wife, Catherine, voted at Ibabu, Unit 11, Ward 5, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State at about 9 am.

According to him, “the electoral process is very peaceful and orderly.

“I am confident that at the end of the day, we will have reasons to smile.”

At Ugiliamai, Ward 5, the people were seen casting their votes in orderly manner.

At Utagba-Uno, former member, Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Azuka Azaka, said, “the election is peaceful, people are casting their votes; the materials for the election came on time.”

At Umukwata in Ukwuani Local Government Area, as at 1.30 pm, people were seen casting their votes without hitches.

Chief Isaac Onyesom, who voted at the center, expressed confidence that the PDP will win landslide in the state and the country.

He observed that the electoral process was smooth.
