‘Allow Us Grieve Peacefully’ – Okposo Family Says On “Welu welu” Crooner’s Death

The family of well-known Nigerian gospel singer and Welu Welu crooner Sammie Okposo has issued an official statement regarding his unexpected death earlier today.

The music producer, who was 51 years old, died after collapsing on Friday morning, according to an earlier report from www.bigpenngr.com.

The Okposo family, however, is comforted by the fact that Sammie is joyfully singing with the angels in heaven, according to the official statement made by Hector Okposo on behalf of the family.

“We are consoled because we know he is with Jesus Christ  singing with the angels.”

The statement added, “We kindly request that the family is allowed to grieve peacefully at this time.”
