BREAKING: Nigerian Gospel Artiste, Sammie Okposo Reportedly Slumps, Passes Away

Sammie Okposo, a seasoned Nigerian gospel artiste, reportedly collapsed and passed away early on Friday.

Multiple sources confirmed that the veteran music producer and singer slumped on Friday morning, November 25, 2022, and passed away, though the circumstances of his death are still unclear. 

He was 51.

Before his passing, Sammie Okposo gained notoriety for publicly apologising to his wife Ozioma for cheating on her with another woman in the United States early in the year.

The gospel singer apologised on his Instagram page for cheating on his wife in 2021 and lamented the act.

Sammie Okposo added that he has decided to step down from his ministry duties until “full restoration” as a result of the development.
