JUST IN: Delta South Political Equation May Change As Ejele Emerges PDP Candidate

The political equation in Delta South Senatorial district is likely to change as a former member of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Micheal Diden aka Ejele, emerged as flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Delta South Senatorial District.

BIGPENNGR.COM reports that Ejele’s emergence is likely to trigger a fresh political alignment in the district ahead the 2023 general elections.

Ejele polled 176 votes out of 272 eligible ad-hoc delegates accredited to participate in the party’s primary held at the Warri Township Stadium in Warri South Local Government Area of the state.

Other who participated in the keenly contested primary are, former House of Representatives member, Hon. Daniel Reyenieju who got 49 delegates votes, Chief Oghogho Ayodele Ithihiwa had 46 votes while one-time Speaker of the state assembly, Rt. Hon. Kent Omatsone got 2 votes.
