Amidst rumours making the round in the country about the purported death of former Military President, Rtd General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB), multiple sources have confirmed the ‘death rumours’ as yet another hoax.

“The news of the ‘death’ of Oga IBB is not true. We are with him now; he just finished receiving visitors at his Hill Top residence in Minna,” a source in the Hill Top residence confirmed to News Express on Saturday afternoon, May 7, 2022.

“It’s yet another hoax. These are just signs of long life to him,” the source added.

News Express reports that fake news of IBB’s death has become routine. The rumour made the rounds in May last year and resurfaced in January this year.
