2023: Nigerians React As Tinubu’s Campaign DG, Jibrin Dumps APC Few Hours After Hailing Party

Nigerians have continued to react on mini-blogging site, Twitter, over the sudden defection notice posted by the Director General of the Bola Tinubu Campaign Organization, Abdulmumin Jibrin.
BIGPENNGR reports that Jibrin, in a tweet on Saturday evening, announced his decision to dump the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Jibrin’s tweet came few hours after he earlier tweet where he described APC as a “great party”.
In his cross-carpeting tweet, the former lawmaker, who is expected to be actively involved in the coming APC presidential primary election, said he was moving on from the party.
Many Nigerians on social media who saw his earlier tweet are wondering what could have happened within the short period to warrant the sudden defection moves as a key member of the Tinubu’s political bloc.
Others wonder if the national leader of the APC may also dump the party.
Jibrin said he would return with full details of his reasons to dump the ruling party, but there is the feeling that the former lawmaker has envisaged a ‘not-too-good’ future for Tinubu.
“I have done my best for APC. It’s time to move on. I will announce my new political party within the next 24 hours Insha Allah.
“I will make a formal statement in due course. Hon Abdulmumin Jibrin,” Jibrin tweeted, promising to provide more details later.
Below are some of the tweet reactions;
You literally tweeted this few hours ago calling APC a great Party?
What changed within few hours?
Politicians will always be Politicians.

Now that you're leaving APC and want you to ask your question and expect an honest answer. Do Nigerians deserve TINUBU?
