BREAKING: Hillary Clinton Asks Buhari, Nigerian Army To ‘Stop Killing’ Young #EndSARS Protesters

Former US secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigerian Army to stop the ‘killings’ of #EndSARS protesters.

She spoke amidst report that soldiers and anti-riot policemen had invaded the Lekki toll gate area of Lagos earlier on Tuesday, shooting at unarmed protesters.

The development which had caused wide public outrage from Nigerians and the Diaspora, is reportedly believed to be one measure by the Buhari’s administration to disperse the youths who having been protesting police brutality, extortion and extra-judicial killings in the country.

Lending her voice to public outcry over the Tuesday’s night onslaught against the protesters, Hillary Clinton took to her tweet handle in support of those who had condemned the action of the soldiers.

“I’m calling on @mbuhari and the @hqnigerianarmy to stop killing young #EndSARS protesters,” she tweeted.
