Some elders and leaders of All progressive Congress (APC) in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State have commended President Muhammadu Buhari, over the appointment of Mr. Oma Djebah, a former Commissioner for Information in Delta as a non career diplomat.
In a press statement issued in Otu-Jeremi, headquarters of Ughelli South Local Government Areas, the elders and leaders of the party in the area, commended President Buhari for his choice of Mr. Oma Djebah as Ambassador nominee.
They described Oma Djebah as a square peg in a square hole, a grassroot politician and a strong member of the APC.
“Oma Djebah’s pedigree, experience and exposure in public service and international diplomatic engagements eminently qualify him for the job of an ambassador”, they said in the statement.
They declared that the nation and all stakeholders would, in no time, be proud of his giant strides as a non-carreer ambassador.
