Police Busts ‘Killer’ Of UNIBEN Student, Uwa Around RCCG Premises

The police from Edo Police Command have arrested the suspected killer of Ms. Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, a 100-level student of the University of Benin.

The suspect was tracked down around the church, Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Ikpoba Hill where the crime allegedly took placed.

She was raped and killed inside the church where she had gone to read.

A fire extinguisher taken for forensic examination from the scene of crime allegedly used to hacked her to death had the fingerprint of the suspect, a spokesman of Edo State Police Command, Chidi Nwabuzor, said on Tuesday.
