Nigeria on Saturday recorded the highest spike in coronavirus infection in a single day testing for COVID-19, the country’s Centre for Disease Control says.

BIGPEN reports the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), says the country has recorded 553 new cases, up from 387 the day before. This marked the biggest record of the virus since the outbreak in the country.
