BREAKING: BIGPEN Editor, Ogbodu, Delta Journalist, Udemude Charge To Court Over Report ‘Leaked’ To Ex-CDS, Gen. Ogomudia

Joe Ogbodu, the Editor of BIGPEN Online and Amour Udemude, a journalist based in Asaba has been charged by the police in Delta State to a magistrate court in Asaba, the state capital.
This comes following a petition written by one Sam Ogrih ‘leaked‘ to former Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Alexander Ogomudia concerning oil crisis in Uzere community in Isoko South Local Government Area of the state.

Ogbodu is the managing editor of an online platform, BIGPEN Online, while Udemude, also a social critic, worked for National Mirror newspaper.
The two journalists, who had earlier been invited by the police and released on bail, were taken to court on Thursday.
BIGPEN Online can report that Joe Ogbodu who was earlier invited by the police for questioning, honored their invitation as a law abiding citizen.
