As earlier projected by BIGPEN ONLINE, Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa is set to win landslide the Delta State 2019 Governorship election.

Okowa’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has so far won in 17 local government areas, with the All Progressive Congress (APC) cliching one which is Ethiope East, the local government council of the APC candidate, Chief Great Ogboru.

Ogboru’s APC for the first time is losing all the popular votes from Delta Central senatorial district which are supposed APC stronghold.

Okowa’s winning is tied to equity mantra and power rotation agreement in the state while Ogboru’s poor performance is mainly an offspring of internal wrangling in his party, APC.
