Isoko North PDP Crisis: Ogor, Macaulay, Owhefere, Others Finally Reconciled

Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in Isoko North local government area of Delta state who were at each other throat have finally buried the hatchet that almost consumed the party.

BigPen Online gathered that the crisis which rocked the party stemmed from the outcome of PDP House of Assembly primary where it was alleged that Ogor had outsmarted Macaulay when he suddenly dumped his preferred candidate, Mike Ogeah for incumbent lawmaker representing the area,  Tim Owhefere.

But at an enlarged close door reconciliation meeting with the PDP Reconciliation Committee, led by Bishop Ben Eghaire, the contending leaders reconciled their differences and vowed to deliver all candidates of the party from the presidential to the House of Assembly in the forthcoming general elections.

They agreed to close ranks and work in one accord to give the party a landslide victory at the polls.

In a separate interview with Journalists on behalf of the leaders shortly after the reconciliatory meeting, the Isoko PDP chairman Godwin Ogorugba and the PDP Reconciliation Committee chairman, Bishop Ben Eghaire, disclosed that the leaders decision to bury the hatchet was based on the uncommon leadership style of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, which was anchored on peace, reconciliation and good governance.

According to the Isoko North PDP chairman “basically, all rancour within the PDP in Isoko North have been resolved with this reconciliation meeting and we have agreed to work together and ensure that the party, being supreme, will deliver all its candidates in tandem with our policy in Isoko North and Delta state.

On his part, the PDP Reconciliation Committee chairman, Bishop Ben Eghaire, described the meeting as been timely and signs of good things to come to the party explaining that the various leaders and candidates were satisfied with the peace moves of the party.
