Published

on

Nigeria’s Minister, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun has resigned her position as Minister of Finance after President Muhammadu Buhari’s government faced backlash over his treatment of the scandal, BigPen Online can report.

Adeosun’s resignation is far unconnected to the National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC) certificate scandal which has being an embarrassment to the Buhari government anti-corruption war.

Although no official statement has been issued over the reported resignation but close associates to her said she did it in honour and not to jeopardize Buhari’s reelection.

Her resignation when confirmed could be the first in Nigeria for a minister facing a scandal to throw in the towel.
