Published

President Muhammadu Buhari will sign the 2018 budget into law on Wednesday.

Also, the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting for this Wednesday might also not hold due to the budget signing and Public holidays observed on Friday and Monday.

Recall that last week, the Special Adviser to the president on media and publicity, Femi Adesina had told state house correspondents that the president would give assent to the budget this week.

Meanwhile, Udoma Udoma, Minister of Budget and National Planning, two weeks ago said the president had not signed the budget because he was still studying it.

The National Assembly passed the budget in May, increasing it up from N8.6 trillion to N9.1 trillion.
