Abia State PDP Governorship Aspirant Joins APC

The pursuit for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State to take over power from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party in Abia State on Monday experienced a boost as a Governorship aspirant in PDP 2014 primaries, Barr. Friday Nwosu officially defected to the APC.

Meanwhile, Nwosu was in court with the incumbent Governor of the state, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu over tax clearance certificate which he alleged was forged.

According to reports by The Nation, Nwosu formally registered in his Obingwa ward and was issued with his membership card by the ward chairman.

However, Over 50, 000 supporters of Nwosu are expected to join him in APC when he would be presented to the State leadership of the party in Umuahia, the state capital soon
