The group, Coalition for Good Governance (ICGG), has called on the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Coordinator for Edo, Delta and Rivers States, Hon. Thomas Joel Onowakpo to join the 2019 race for Isoko Federal Constituency.

Coordinator of the group, Comrade Prince Kpokpogri, who made the called in a meeting with members of the group in Asaba, also called on leaders in Isoko to throw their weight behind the aspirant from Isoko South Local Government Area.

He said that Onowakpo’s rich pedigree in both public and private sectors better position him to represent the people of Isoko at the green chambers.

Kpokpogri noted that Isoko North has had a fair share of representing Isoko Federal Constituency at the green chambers, hence room should be given for the South in view of equity.

He said the seat is not the sole reserve of Isoko North hence all hands must be on deck to follow the cause of equity adding that the decision was stemmed from the resolution of the ICGG’s consultative meeting.

ICGG said it will do everything within its powers to ensure that Isoko South Local Government gets to the National Assembly to represent the Isoko Constituency.
