Gov Okowa Felicitates With Olu Of Warri On 2nd Coronation Anniversary

The Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has felicitated with the olu of warri kingdom, HRM Ogiame Ikenwoli on his 2nd year anniversary on the throne.

In a statement  in Asaba on Thursday by his Chief Press Secretary, Charles Aniagwu, the Governor congratulates the Warri Monarch and noted his efforts in keeping Warri kingdom peaceful and because of that it is investor-friendly.

“Your majesty, because you have done a lot, it is almost unbelievable that you are just two years on the throne. You have impacted do much on your people and the whole of Delta state and Nigeria as you have brought uncommon zest and creativity to the throne by ensuring unity among various kingdoms.”

Also In the statement available to BigPen Online, Governor Okowa thanked the Olu of Warri for encouraging harmonious  and peaceful coexistence among ethnic groups in Delta state by visiting the various kingdoms in the state and using his position for the service of the people.

“On behalf of the government and people of Delta state, I congratulate his Royal Majesty, members of the traditional council on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of the monarch’s ascension to the ancient throne.

In the last two years on the throne, His Royal Majesty Ikenwoli has demonstrated exemplary leadership by living above board, while remaining as the rallying point and inspiration for his subjects.

As a  bastion of culture and tradtion, the Olu has played significant role in the promotion of harmony among the itsekiri people and their neighbors” he said

The Governor also congratulated the people of Iwere for supporting and co-operating with the monarch for the past two years.
