Armed Bandits Kill 3 Policemen, Burn Their Vehicle In Kaduna

Suspected armed bandits along Birnin-Gwari Kaduna Highway, were said to have on Tuesday ambushed a Police vehicle on routine patrol, killing three personnel and burnt down their vehicle.

According to an eye witness, the incident happened near Labi village territory under Birnin-Gwari local government area.

Chairman, Birnin-Gwari Vanguards for Security and Good Governance, Ibrahim Abubakar Nagwari who disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday expressed condolence to the families of the victims and the Nigerian Police Force for the loss.

“We equally like to commend all security agencies for the difficult task of uprooting acts of terrorism, armed banditry and Kidnappings along Birnin-Gwari-Kaduna highways as well as Birnin-Gwari-Funtua road and indeed the Kamuku Forest.

“We are calling of all peace loving people of Birnin-Gwari to volunteer in assisting security agencies to unmasked all evil elements across our territory and also give accurate information on all hideouts of this criminals”, the statement added.
