With preparations for the 2027 general elections gathering momentum, the Isoko North Local Government Area chapter of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Delta State has intensified its grassroots mobilisation efforts, declaring its readiness to secure overwhelming electoral support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the local government area.

The group made the declaration on Friday during a strategic leadership meeting convened by its Local Government Coordinator and Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba, at his country home in Otor-Igho Community.

The meeting brought together the 13 Ward Coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors as well as the Deputy Local Government Coordinator, Comrade Ovie Umuakpor, to fine-tune strategies aimed at strengthening the group’s grassroots structure ahead of the 2027 polls.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Ogorugba charged the ward coordinators to immediately commence regular engagements with unit coordinators and executive members across their respective wards, stressing that the success of the APC in the next general election would depend largely on effective grassroots organisation and sustained voter mobilisation.

According to him, the foundation of every electoral victory is laid at the polling unit level, urging members to remain committed, focused and proactive in building a formidable political structure capable of delivering convincing victories for the party.

“Victory for our candidates begins from the units. Every ward and every polling unit matters. We must intensify our mobilisation efforts and work tirelessly to ensure that the APC records overwhelming victories across all the 13 wards and polling units in Isoko North,” he stated.

The council chairman further called on members to embark on aggressive voter sensitisation and mobilisation in support of the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming elections.

Hon. Ogorugba expressed confidence that the achievements of the Tinubu-led administration at the federal level, coupled with Governor Oborevwori’s developmental strides in Delta State, would provide a strong basis for the electorate to renew their mandate in 2027.

He maintained that the Renewed Hope agenda continues to resonate with the people through policies and programmes aimed at improving infrastructure, expanding economic opportunities and enhancing the welfare of citizens, adding that residents of Isoko North are prepared to reward the party with massive electoral support.

The APC stalwart also underscored the importance of unity, discipline, loyalty and early preparation, describing them as critical ingredients for electoral success. He urged members to remain steadfast, avoid actions capable of creating division within the party and sustain regular engagement with the grassroots.

Hon. Ogorugba further encouraged ward leaders to identify new members, strengthen existing party structures and maintain close interaction with the electorate to consolidate the APC’s growing support base throughout the local government area.

In their separate remarks, the ward coordinators pledged their readiness to implement the resolutions reached at the meeting, assuring the leadership of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors that they would immediately activate mobilisation activities across their wards and polling units.
