As Christians across Nigeria mark the Easter season, Senator Ned Nwoko has called on citizens and leaders alike to draw strength from the symbolism of renewal, while acknowledging the economic and social pressures facing many households.

In a message released to commemorate the holiday, the lawmaker reflected on the deeper meaning of Easter, describing it as a period that underscores resilience and the promise of new beginnings following hardship.

He noted that many Nigerian families are currently grappling with difficult realities, expressing empathy for those bearing the weight of ongoing challenges.

“Easter reminds us that difficult moments do not define the end of the story,” he said, emphasizing that adversity should inspire patience, determination, and responsive leadership.

The senator highlighted that Nigeria is undergoing a critical phase of transition, marked by reforms and policy adjustments.

While admitting that the full benefits of these changes may not yet be felt by all citizens, he stressed the importance of perseverance and collective responsibility.
