NUJ Warri Eulogies Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom at 60
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Warri Correspondents’ Chapel has felicitates with Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom, His Majesty, King Monday Obukowho Whiskey, Udurhe I, on the occasion of his 5th coronation and 60th birth anniversaries.
The Union, in a statement by its chairman, Victor Okpomor and Secretary, Edeki Igafe, on Saturday, lauded the monarch’s peace and development strives since ascension to the throne of his forefathers.
“His Majesty, your reign in the past five years has undoubtedly ushered in immeasurable peace, unity and development to Idjerhe Kingdom”, NUJ said.
They commended his impactful reign which has transcended beyond Idjerhe Kingdom to other part of the state.
The statement reads; “Your supports, moral and invaluable advice to the Warri Correspondents’ Chapel are not unnoticed and we will continue to cherish it.
“Sir, as you mark your 5th Coronation anniversary which coincides with your 60th birthday, we pray God Almighty to continue to grant you the wisdom, knowledge and strength to govern your people and move the kingdom to an enviable height.
“We wish you success and good health as you continue to deliver impactful reign to your subjects.
“May your reign continue to bring incredible blessings to Idjerhe Kingdom.
“Once again, Congratulations to His Majesty.
