Isoko South Chairman Leads High-powered Delegation On Condolence To Late Ugboma’s Family

The chairman of Isoko South Local Government of Delta state, Friday Ovoke Warri, has led a high delegation team to pay a condolence visit to the family of late Dr. Eddy Ugboma at his residence in Oleh, administrative headquarters of Isoko South council.

Ugboma, a former secretary to the Isoko South local government area between June 2003 and July 2004 and father to ace comedian , BOVI, died on Thursday, 13, February 2025.

Warri, while describing the late council secretary as a distinguished elder statesman, accomplished administrator, academician, and historian who served in various capacities in the country, noted that Ugboma will be greatly missed within the political sphere of both Isoko South and Delta State.

“Apart from being a consummate politician, Dr. Ugboma was also a community leader who demonstrated a profound commitment to his community and made significant contributions to the development of the Ivrogbo-Irri community in the Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.

“A distinguished statesman, a devoted patriot who led a life of integrity, a life marked by dedication and decency, has passed away, on behalf of the government and people of Isoko South. I pray for the repose of his soul and I pray God to grant the children and family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss in Jesus name amen.”

Warri offered words of comfort, urging the family of the deceased to take solace in God, the giver and taker of life.

The council chairman was accompanied in the condolence visit by the special adviser to the council chairman, Okolosi Efe, councillor representing Oleh ward, Onoriode Obeuwou and Ovie Akpotu and among others.
