Independence Day: Wife Of Isoko South Chairman Celebrates In Orphanage Homes, Hospital, Donates Food Items, Gifts, Cash

Wife of Isoko South Chairman, Mrs Abigail Warri visit Orphan homes, hospital at Mark Independence Day anniversary





To commemorate Nigeria’s 64th independence anniversary, wife of Isoko South Local Government Area Chairman, Mrs. Abigail Warri, on Tuesday, visited orphanage homes and a hospital in the area, donating food items, gifts, and cash.

Accompanied by the local government vice chairperson Theresa Ikrike, majority leader of the legislative arm, Sheen Eloho Eza and other officials, Mrs Warri urged the orphans to recognize their self-worth and potential, emphasizing equal rights and the importance of education and faith.

At Ugholeh Orphanage, Oleh, and Gilgal Child Support Center, Irri, Mrs Warri donated food and gift items to orphans and nursing mothers, admonishing the orphans to know that they are like every other children living with their parents and have same equal rights.

She urged the children to take their education seriously and believe in God in everything they do.

Orphanage representatives, Mrs. Queen Egbage and Prophet Abraham Great, expressed gratitude and appealed for sustained governmental support.

At Oleh General Hospital, the Isoko South First Lady, congratulated nursing mothers, especially those with babies born on Independence Day, and presented gifts and cash to lactating mothers at the maternity and pediatric wards of the hospital as way of demonstrating her commitment to community welfare.

Udolu Gloria Ujiro, speaking for Oleh General Hospital, thanked and commended Mrs Warri’s gesture as exemplary and timely, considering the current economic challenges.
