Binance’s Trial: ‘Our Tax Dollars As US Citizens Are Sent To Nigeria Every Year As Aid’, Yuki Gambaryan Slams EFCC For Delaying Hubby’s Release

The wife of Tigran Gambaryan, Yuki Gambaryan, has appealed to the Nigerian Government to drop the charges against her husband, who has been detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for several weeks.

BIGPEN NIGERIA (https://bigpenngr
Com) reports that this comes after the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) dropped its charges against him last week, agreeing to serve the charges solely on Binance, a cryptocurrency exchange platform.

Yuki Gambaryan expressed her frustration and disappointment with the situation, stating that she does not see why the EFCC cannot follow the same path as the FIRS.

She maintained that her husband is innocent and that it is time for the Nigerian authorities to “do the right thing” and release him.

She also called on the US government to intervene more forcefully in the matter, noting that she and her husband pay taxes in the US, some of which are sent to Nigeria as aid every year. She urged the US State Department to do more to secure the release of her husband, an American citizen.

In an email seen by BIGPEN NIGERIA; Yuki wrote, “I am also once again calling on the US government to intervene more forcefully. Tigran’s and my own tax dollars get sent to Nigeria in aid every year. Nigeria is supposed to be an ally. I refuse to believe that our State Department cannot do more to have an innocent American citizen released.”

The cross examination will continue tomorrow.
