N’Delta Activist, Ofehe Joins Kwankwaso’s NNPP, Picks Delta South Senatorial Form

Comrade (Chief) Sunny Ofehe, Nigerian-Netherlands based activist, has declared to contest the Delta South Senatorial district seat under the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
His declaration came barely few days after he was sighted in photograph with National leader and presidential aspirant of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso
Ofehe said he picked the party’s form in Abuja after due and constructive consultations with family, elders, friends, critical stakeholders in his Senatorial district.
He expressed his commitment to serve the people of Delta South Senatorial district in the red chamber of the national assembly, saying that he had garnered the experience on local, national, regional and global knowledge to steer the affairs of the senatorial district.
Ofehe who was one of the 2019 governorship aspirant under the All Progressive Congress (APC), pledged to deliver democratic dividends to the people of Delta South through ‘our legislative channels’.
In a terse massage posted on his Facebook, Ofehe said; “Ladies and gentlemen, after due and constructive consultations with family, elders, friends, concern people and many of you following me here, I Comrade Sunny Ofehe do hereby declare that I will run for the Senatorial Seat of the Delta State Southern Senatorial District of Nigeria.
“I love my State, I love my Country and I love my Continent. I have had a long desire to serve my people. I have travelled, I have seen and I have gained sufficient experience on local, national, regional and global knowledge to steer the affairs of our constituency. I pledge to deliver through our legislative channels.
“I may have offended some people by not running under their member political platform, if you will argue over my choice political platform, you have the rights to do us and that has always been the standing principle of our democracy.
“I will run my ambition on the platform of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) of Nigeria. I want all your support and prayers because I can’t do this alone. Let’s us join hands to start the change that our great country deserve”, the statement said.
