The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Sheriff Oborevwori, has disowned one ‘Ejiro Oborevwori’, an alleged avatar who has been allegedly posting unsolicited messages about his person on social media.

The Speaker said that the said ‘Ejiro Oborevwori’ was neither a family member nor has any connection to him.

The said ‘Ejiro Oborevwori’ had posted on Facebook that the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori had ‘on Monday met with his political train and disclosed to them that he will run for the  Governorship seat of Delta state comes 2023’.

Oborevwori, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Dennis Otu, on Tuesday, said that the claims by the said ‘Ejiro’ were handiwork of mischief makers.

“It is a complete fake news as this is the hand work of Mischief Makers. The Speaker has remained focused and never at anytime discussed Governorship ambition with anybody.

“He is committed to what he is doing at the moment as the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and he will never be distracted.
