BREAKING: 11 Persons Reported Dead From COVID-19, 339 Others Test Positive

At least 11 persons on Thursday were confirmed dead resulting from coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the country.

As of Wednesday, there were eight additional cases of death, bring a total of 200 fatalities but as at Thursday, the number rose to 211.

Announcing the figures via its twitter handle this night, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), said that the country has 339 new cases, 1907 discharged, 211 deaths and 7016 overall total thus far.

NCDC said that of the 339 new cases, 139 came from Lagos, 28 each from Kano and Oyo, 25 from Edo, 22 from Katsina while Kaduna, Jigawa, Yobe and Plateau had 18, 14, 13, 13 respectively.

It also said that 11 cases came from FCT, 8 in Gombe, 5 in Ogun, 4 each from Bauchi and Nasarawa, 3 from Delta, 2 from Ondo while Rivers and Adamawa States had one cases each.
