Sad! PDP Chair Shot Dead Amid Okowa’s Supreme Court Victory Celebration In Delta

Mr. Paul Onomuakpokpo, the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Olomu Ward 1, in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, has been reportedly killed.

He was shot dead allegedly by unknown armed men amidst the celebration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s Supreme Court victory in the state.

It was not clear what led to the killing which occurred late Wednesday evening around the Ogoni road, near the palace of the Orhworode of Olomu Kingdom.

Until his death,the deceased who hails from Okpe-Olomu, Ughelli south council, besides being a PDP chairman in the area, was the unit chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Tipper Garage Unit in Olomu.
