Oborevwori Celebrates Jim Ovia At 75, Hails Zenith Bank Founder As Visionary

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated the Founder of Zenith Bank Plc, Dr. Jim Ovia, CFR, on his 75th birthday.

In a congratulatory message issued on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Oborevwori described the Agbor-born business mogul as a visionary entrepreneur whose contributions have helped shape Nigeria’s banking industry.

The Governor praised Ovia for transforming the nation’s financial sector through innovation, sound leadership and commitment to excellence.Oborevwori also acknowledged Ovia’s contributions beyond banking, particularly his investments in education, entrepreneurship and security, as well as his efforts to empower young people through philanthropy.

He said Ovia’s remarkable career has brought honour to Delta State and Nigeria, while inspiring generations of entrepreneurs and professionals.

“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I congratulate our dear elder statesman, Dr. Jim Ovia, CFR, on the occasion of his 75th birth anniversary on November 4.
