Adeleke Maintains 57,163-Vote Lead as Osun Results Near Completion

Governor Ademola Adeleke has maintained his lead in the ongoing Osun State governorship election as results from 331 of the 332 wards have been reported on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Result Viewing Portal (IReV).
According to the latest figures on the IReV dashboard, Adeleke has polled 461,876 votes, representing 49.7 per cent of the valid votes recorded so far.
His closest challenger, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has secured 404,713 votes, representing 43.6 per cent.
Adeleke is currently ahead by 57,163 votes.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Najeem Salaam, is in third place with 15,685 votes, while Olanrewaju Farinloye of the Action Alliance (AA) has recorded 4,889 votes.
The figures remain provisional pending the collation of the outstanding results and the official declaration by INEC.
For now, Adeleke remains in the lead as the collation process moves towards completion.
