Senator Nwoko Pays Condolence Visit to Family of Late Sen. Peter Nwaoboshi

Senator Ned Nwoko has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, describing the deceased as a distinguished leader, a courageous patriot, and a true statesman who made remarkable contributions to public service.

Speaking on behalf of the Anioma people, Senator Nwoko expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Senator Nwaoboshi, noting that his death represents a great loss not only to his immediate family but also to Delta State and the nation at large.

He described the late senator as a “true Dike,” a man of integrity, strength, and unwavering commitment to the development of his people.

During the visit, Senator Nwoko recalled the impactful political career of Senator Nwaoboshi, stating that he was a leader who stood firmly for justice, fairness, and progress.

According to him, the late lawmaker distinguished himself through selfless service and dedication to the welfare of his constituents, leaving behind a legacy worthy of emulation.

Addressing members of the bereaved family, Senator Nwoko emphasized that he had no involvement whatsoever in the challenges and difficulties faced by Senator Nwaoboshi before his passing.

The senator revealed that he had hoped to meet personally with the late Senator Nwaoboshi and had previously sent messages expressing his desire for dialogue and reconciliation.

He noted that his intention had always been to promote harmony and cooperation in the interest of Anioma land and the larger Delta North Senatorial District.

Senator Nwoko offered his heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and associates of the late lawmaker.

He prayed that God would grant them the strength, comfort, and fortitude to bear the painful loss.

He also prayed for the peaceful repose of Senator Nwaoboshi’s soul, asking that his good deeds and service to humanity continue to speak for him.

Members of the Nwaoboshi family, in response, expressed gratitude to Senator Nwoko for his visit and kind words.
