Rivers Governor, Siminalayi Fubara Officially Dumps PDP for APC
Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The governor announced this on Tuesday during a stakeholders meeting held in Government House, Port Harcourt.
He also, at the meeting, announced his membership in the All Progressive Congress (APC).
The decision puts an end to months of speculation about the Rivers governor’s political affiliation amidst the leadership crisis in the PDP.
