Delta Controller of Immigration Lauds Isoko North LGA Chairman for Transformative Leadership Style

Delta State Controller of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Mrs. Victoria Uyouyo Agbi and the chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of the State, Godwin Ogorugba

The Delta State Controller of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Mrs. Victoria Uyouyo Agbi, has applauded the chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of the State, Godwin Ogorugba for his transformative leadership style and developmental achievements since assumption of office.

Mrs. Agbi gave the commendation Thursday when she paid a courtesy visit on the council chairman in his office in Ozoro, headquarters of Isoko North LGA.

She said, “Mr. Chairman I have visited many local government councils across the state since my transfer to Delta State but Isoko North infrastructural transformation is quite different and I must commend you. You will be remembered for the good things you did when you were in office..”

She, however urged the chairman to keep the flag of infrastructural development flying higher for the best interest of Isoko North people and Delta State at large.

In his response, the Isoko North council chairman, Godwin Ogorugba appreciated the Delta State Immigration boss for the visit and appealed to her to use her wealth of experience in National service in facilitating the delivery of international passports to Deltans and also profiling foreigners entering Delta State in order to minimize the rate of insecurity in the state.

Meanwhile, the chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Godwin Ogorugba has reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to support sporting activities in Isoko nation.

The council chairman gave the assurance on Tuesday when receiving on a courtesy visit the Umeh Need Road (UNR) Unity football committee led by Evans Egbo in his office, Ozoro headquarters of Isoko North LGA .

He pledged full support to the forthcoming UNR Unity football match between Isoko North and Isoko South Local Government Areas of the State.

The chairman who had earlier donated the sum of N1 million in support of the football competition, assured the committee of his presence during the event.
