N’Delta Monarch Blasts ‘Sinister Plot’ Against Tompolo, PAP Boss Otuaro, Urges FG Not to Succumb to ‘Blackmail’

King Obukowho Monday Whiskey JP., Udurhie I of Idjerhe Kingdom, and Chairman of the Hoscon Traditional Rulers and Elders Advisory Council, has issued a scathing rebuke against what he calls a “sinister plot” by forces attempting to destabilize crucial security initiatives in the oil-rich region.

Specifically, the prominent Niger Delta monarch called on all patriotic Nigerians to rally behind the efforts of Tantita Security Services Limited, led by High Chief (Dr.) Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), and Dr. Dennis Otuaro, Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP).

The monarch’s impassioned statement comes amid what he describes as “orchestrated media campaigns” and “calculated attacks” aimed at discrediting both Tompolo and Otuaro.

He asserted that these campaigns are a blatant attempt to undermine significant progress made in combating crude oil theft and pipeline vandalism and to derail the ongoing revitalization of the Amnesty Programme.

The monarch minced no words, stating that the media assault on Tompolo and Tantita Security is “a blackmail tactic designed to weaken their efforts, potentially allowing crude oil theft and pipeline vandalism to resurface in the region.”

He highlighted the tangible achievements of Tantita Security Services, including the restoration of habitable environments, the return of aquatic life, and the improvement of water quality—a stark contrast to the environmental devastation previously rampant.

Udurhie I warned that similar tactics are being deployed against Dr. Otuaro, who is actively repositioning the Amnesty Programme to benefit all Niger Delta stakeholders and the nation. He emphasized that the reforms within the PAP are “not only visible but are indeed transformative for even the blind to see.”

He challenged “critical Niger Delta stakeholders and other patriotic Nigerians” to speak out. He argued that national interest must prevail over the “selfish motives of those who have lived all their lives in pipeline vandalism and crude theft business in the Niger Delta.”

The monarch urged the federal government, under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, not to “cave in to these well-designed, orchestrated campaigns,” stressing that doing so would “be returning the Niger Delta region into the dark era of pipeline vandalism and coordinated crude theft.”

The royal father confidently stated that the federal government has its own robust evaluation procedures for these initiatives and does not need “agents of darkness as monitoring authorities.”

He reiterated his conviction that the federal government and its supervising agencies are “comfortable with the high level achievements of Tantita Security Services Limited.”

He warned that any plot to instigate action against Tompolo and Tantita Security “will surely be an evil wind that will blow no good to anybody.”

Instead of vilification, the monarch insisted that Tompolo and Otuaro “should be commended” for their significant contributions to regional stability and environmental health.

“Rather than castigate Tompolo and Otuaro, they should be commended, because we were living witnesses to the sorry state of our economy and environment before the advent of Tantita Security Services Limited”, he added.
