Chief Jude Baadi, a member of Delta Unity Group (DUG) and a prominent figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC), has commended Senator Ned Nwoko for fulfilling his promise of pushing for the actualisation of Aniocha North Constituency 2, describing the achievement as a landmark victory for the people of the area.

Speaking during a live interview on Nol 24 TV, Chief Baadi noted that despite opposition from certain political figures, Senator Nwoko remained focused on actualizing the Supreme Court judgment that recognized nine communities as eligible for a second state constituency in Aniocha North.

“Some politicians stood against the implementation of the judgment after it was delivered by the Supreme Court,” Baadi said.

“But Senator Ned Nwoko made it clear from the start that making Aniocha North Constituency 2 a reality would be his first priority on assumption of office at the National Assembly— and he delivered.”

According to Baadi, Nwoko’s efforts have now paved the way for the constituency to have two seats in the Delta State House of Assembly by 2027, a move he believes will enhance representation and development for the affected communities.

“This is not just a political win — it’s a victory for justice and fairness,” Baadi added. “Why can’t we give him credit for that? Ned Nwoko is a wonderful senator, and we owe him our support.”

Baadi also praised the senator’s commitment to service and his principled approach to politics. “He may not do things your way, but he gets them done. In a decent political environment, people like Senator Nwoko should be celebrated, not vilified,” he said. “His focus is on improving lives of people. He’s not distracted by dirty politics.”

Reaffirming his loyalty to the senator’s vision for Delta North, Baadi emphasized that Nwoko’s selflessness and integrity stand out in today’s political climate. “Everyone who knows him knows he means well for the people of Delta North. We should give him all the support he needs to succeed.”
