Ngbilebiri-Mein Kingdom Honours Chief (Mrs) Christie Oshenyen-Erijoh With Atamare-Ere Title

It was all fanfare and pageantry in Ngbilebiri-Mein Kingdom, Burutu LGA, Delta State on Thursday 23-01-2025 as Chief (Mrs) Christie Oshenyen-Erijoh was formally conferred with the esteemed title of the Atamare-Ere of Ngbilebiri-Mein Kingdom by the Royal Father, HRM Pere Akpomiemie Fuludu Ogiogio II, The Pere of Ngbilebiri-Mein Kingdom, Burutu LGA, Delta State.

The grandeur ceremony held at the palace of the paramount ruler attracted dignitaries from across Delta State, including traditional rulers, government functionaries and community leaders.

The ‘Atamare-Ere’ title meaning “A Woman With The Kingdom At Heart” is a prestigious honor bestowed upon any indigene who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, wisdom and contributions to the development of Ngbilebiri-Mein Kingdom.

Chief (Mrs) Oshenyen-Erijoh, an accomplished business woman, philanthropist and great community opinion leader was chosen for this esteemed title due to her remarkable achievements and exemplary leadership, dedication and unwavering commitment to the progress and advancement of Ngbilebiri-Mein Kingdom.

Conferring the title, the Royal Father, HRM Pere Akpomiemie Fuludu Ogiogio II, offered prayers that the new title should bring Chief (Mrs.) Oshenyen-Erijoh more grace, wisdom and strength to continue her impactful service to Ngbilebiri-Mein kingdom, Burutu LGA, Delta State and beyond.

Speaking after being conferred with the traditional title, in her acceptance speech, Chief (Mrs) Oshenyen-Erijoh expressed her gratitude to the Royal Father, Council of Chiefs and the good people of Ngbilebiri-Mein kingdom for the honor bestowed upon her and pledged to continue to work tirelessly for the progress and prosperity of Ngbilebiri-Mein Kingdom.

The ceremony featured traditional music, dance and cultural performances, showcasing the rich heritage of the kingdom. The streets were adorned with colorful decorations, and traditional music resonated throughout the area, creating an atmosphere of shared jubilation.

With this conferment, Chief (Mrs) Oshenyen-Erijoh joins the ranks of esteemed title holders in Ngbilebiri-Mein Kingdom and her leadership prowess will undoubtedly continue to inspire and guide the kingdom towards greater heights.
