A group under the aegis of Movement for the Emancipation of Anioma Nation (MEAN) has described Senator Ned Nwoko as hero of Anioma nation, declaring “An attack on Ned is an attack on MEAN.”.

The group made the declaration during an enlarged meeting held in Agbor, headquarters of Ika South local government area of Delta state where they unanimously passed vote of confidence on the senator for his quality representation at the red chamber.

The motion for the confidence vote was moved by Hon. Mike Monye, general secretary and seconded by Apostle Ayo Ashiedu, a development which was unanimously endorsed by all Anioma people who attended the rally in Agbor.

The rally which was attended by all the nine local government coordinators pulled a crowd of people from across the Delta North senatorial district to Alihama townhall in Agbor metropolis.

Speaking at the rally, president of MEAN, Apostle Ayo Ashiedu said “our mission as a formidable organization is to advocate for better life for our Anioma people.

“And for that to be possible in this present Nigeria, we have seen Senator Ned Nwoko to be the one chosen to make it happen. His moves at the Senate attest to that.

“We have seen the light in him. We have seen his desire for the growth and development of Anioma land. Hence, we have decided to stand by him.
