Grand Wedding Ceremony As Oloje Of Igasi Akoko Kingdom Gives Daughter In Marriage

The Oloje of Igasi Akoko Kingdom in Ondo State, His Royal Majesty Oba Adeniji Abayomi Matthew Adeleye, has formally given his daughter, Demi, in marriage to Deji Oludele Tokode in a grand wedding ceremony.
The event, which took place at the World Lilies Moor Plantation in GRA, Ibadan, Oyo State, was attended by dignitaries from all walks of life, including the Council of Obas and Chiefs, as well as hundreds of indigenes of Igasi Kingdom.
Executive Assistant on External Relations and Diaspora Affairs to the Delta State Governor, Dr. Sunny Ofehe, who coincidentally chaired the occasion, offered words of wisdom to the newlywed couple.
“Marriage is a beautiful journey, but it requires commitment, understanding, and patience,” he said.
Ofehe, a Netherlands-based Nigerian Environmental right activist, said, “As you begin this new chapter in your lives, remember to always communicate effectively, respect each other’s differences, and prioritize love and trust. Never go to bed angry, and always seek to understand each other’s needs. May your love continue to grow stronger with each passing day.”
Dr. Ofehe also advised the couple to build their relationship on the foundation of mutual respect, trust, and forgiveness.
“Remember, marriage is a union of two families, not just two individuals,” he said.
“Always seek to bring joy and happiness to each other, and never hesitate to seek help when needed.”
The ceremony was a grand celebration of love, culture, and tradition, with the bride and groom showcasing their rich heritage through their traditional attire and pageantry.
