Renowned Nigerian actor and film executive, Oludotun Baiyewu Jacobs, popularly known as Olu Jacobs, is still alive, his wife Joke Silva, has debunked his death rumour.

Social media was washed on Sunday that the Veteran Nollywood actor had died but Joke Silva, also a veteran actress has since debunked the purported passage.

Joke Silver said “her husband is alive and doing just fine.”, according to PMNEWS.

Recall that Jacobs, a multiple award-winning actor, has been battling dementia for some time.

Jacobs, born on July 11, 1942, was a highly respected and influential figure in the African film industry, with a career spanning numerous British television series and international films.

Jacobs is widely regarded as a cultural icon and a bridge between generations of actors.
