Jungle Justice As Mob Set Man Ablaze For Stealing Inside Delta Market

Angry mob on Thursday night about 9pm roasted a suspected armed robber to death at Bazunu Street, entrance to Igbudu market in Warri, Delta State as two others escaped from the crime scene.

It was learnt that the deceased suspect and two other members of criminal gang stormed the area in a commercial tricycle.

They allegedly robbed an unidentified woman who was returning from the market and dispossessed her of her personal belongings just as they stabbed and injured her seriously.

As they tried to make their ways out of the market, the victim raised alarm which attracted other traders, residents and passersby as they gave the three man gang a hot chase. 

In the process, two of the criminal suspects escaped but luck ran out of the deceased who was apprehended by the mob who equally gave him the beating of his life before he was roasted beyond recognition. 

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer,DSP Bright Edafe couldn’t confirm the story as he neither pick phone calls nor reply to text message sent to him for confirmation of the report by one of our correspondent.
