Uduaghan Hosts Fed Govt College Warri 74 Classmates To A Grand 50th Anniversary

Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, former Governor of Delta State, would host for 16 years record times his classmates of 1972/74 Set of Federal Government College, Warri, in a grand Golden Jubilee celebration of graduation from the College schedule for this weekend.
The weekend-long event begins with a convergence of the Old Students of the class from all parts of the world in Warri, at the behest of Uduaghan who has been hosting his classmates since 2008.
In his address at the Principal’s Office at FGC Warri, Dr. Uduaghan explained the reason for hosting his ‘mates in Warri since 2008.
According to the former Governor, “God has blessed me and my family. I figured out one of the best ways to appreciate God is to share my blessings with those we begun the journey of life together here at FGC Warri.”
“In a twist of fate, that small boy who was expecting to resume at Federal Government College, Sokoto, ended up rounding up my secondary education here in Warri.
“I count it a blessing because if the then Principal had not helped to move me back to Warri, I would have missed out on having these amazing friends and classmates, (some of whom have left us on this journey) for fifty years now”, Uduaghan said
Speaking, the Class Captain, Dr. Frank Samayin, described Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan’s transfer back to Warri as a blessing in disguise because he has been a pillar and sponsor of their Reunion all these years.
He described the former Governor as “God sent” as he has touched their lives in many positive ways.
The celebration will culminate in a Gala/Award Night called “Celebrating 50 Years of Class of ’74” at the H.E Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan Banquet Hall.
The event is expected to be attended by dignitaries, including Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Former Governor Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, and prominent traditional rulers.
