100 Days In Office: Agbi Hails Governor Oborevwori’s Giant Strides

Dr Goodnews Agbi, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has offered his congratulations to Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborovwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State, on the occasion of his first 100 days in office.

Agbi, in a statement, emphasized Governor Oborovwori’s exceptional leadership skills in effectively managing the state’s affairs despite the country’s struggling economy.

Agbi commended Governor Oborovwori for his inclusive and people-oriented approach to politics and governance. He noted that the people of Delta State readily recognized his qualities and overwhelmingly voted for him during the gubernatorial election.

The governor has successfully built trust and confidence among the populace by delivering on his promises and implementing various development projects within his first 100 days in office, he said.

Furthermore, Agbi acknowledged the governor’s commitment to the welfare of the youth, as reflected in his choice of appointments and policies aimed at empowering and engaging young people.

He highlighted several accomplishments and actions taken by the governor to include, the governor’s commitment to youth-friendly appointments in the newly inaugurated cabinet.

Agbi, also gave the governor a kudos for the quick action in mobilizing contractors for the Ughelli Asaba dual carriage way project as well as the approval of promotions and payment of arrears for public servants in the state.

He also commended the governor for the approval of various construction projects across the three Senatorial Districts of the state during the first inaugural Executive Council meeting, highlighting his result-oriented approach to maintaining peace and security in the state.

While expressing delight with the governor over completion of other infrastructure projects, which are ready for commissioning to mark the governor’s 100 days in office, Agbi praised the governor’s dynamic, charismatic, sagacious, and people-oriented government, highlighting the commitment to delivering the M.O.R.E agenda to the people of Delta State.
