Buhari Issues Certificates To 286 Foreign Nationals Who Become Citizens Of Nigeria

286 foreign nationals from all over the world have reportedly received official certificates registering them as Nigerian citizens and members of the Nigerian family, according to President Muhammadu Buhari.

President Buhari who tweeted about the development, said that all the naturalized foreigners, regardless of where they came from, are now citizens of Nigeria and will now adopt the nation’s history and traditions as their own.

No matter where they have come from, or what faith they practice, this country is now their country.”

“Our history is now their history, and our traditions are now their traditions. Nigeria is their home and pride and joy. Congratulations to all 286 of them.

“Together, we are a nation united by the principles of opportunity, equality, and liberty that are enshrined in our constitution.”
