Buhari Awards N200M To Nigerian Team For Triumphs At The 2022 Commonwealth Games.

- Confers on them national honor
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the awarding of a national honor to Team Nigeria, whom he referred to as “our heroes and heroines” of the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
President Buhari who welcomed the team to the State House on Thursday, also ordered the release of cash prizes totaling N200 million to the contingents.
He said that twelve times the world stood still as the nation’s ‘green-white-green’ was hoisted and the National Anthem recited over the wins by the team Nigeria.
