Otor-Aviara PDP Ward Leaders Pass Vote Of Confidence On Delta Assembly Majority Leader, Onwo

Leaders and stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from Otor-Aviara town, Ward 3 in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta state, have passed a vote of confidence on the Delta House of Assembly Majority leader, Hon Ferguson Onwo.

 

The leaders and stakeholders said the confidence vote was to spur the Majority leader to continue his good and effective representation of the good people of Isoko South Constituency II come 2023.

 

Onwo, in continuation of his usual tours across the Wards in Isoko South II State Constituency, had on Saturday, 10 September 2022 paid a courtesy call on the units Excos and notable PDP grassroot stakeholders and leaders in Otor-Aviara town of Aviara Ward 3 in Isoko South LGA.

 

“It has been a routine thing for the Majority leader to visit the various wards that constitute Isoko South Constituency II as a grassroot politician.

“He usually goes round all Wards in the Constituency he represents at the DTHA to regularly establish confidence in his constituents.

 

“It also enabled him to ascertain the level of compliance in the implementation of constituency projects and empowerment in skill acquisitions as being embarked upon by the State Government, in the various wards.

 

“During the visit, the majority leader had an interactive session with the unit’s leaders and party stakeholders to feel the pulse and the needs of party faithfuls at the grassroot, ” one of the party chieftains said.

At the meeting held at the palatial Aviara residence of the Ward and notable Isoko leader and PDP national leader, Evang. Chief Solomon Ogba who was unavoidably absent, the stakeholders and leaders of the ward, passed a vote of confidence on Onwo for his quality representation.

 

Present at the meeting were all the exco members of the 13 units in Otor-Aviara of Aviara Ward 3.

 

Also present at the occasion were Hon. Stephen Idume, the Forum’s Chairman and Dr. Mike Erigi – Secretary. Other Leaders present were Prince Enahoro Erijoh – DOP to the Majority Leader, Hon. Samson Idume – Special Assistant to the Majority Leader, Odio-Igho Annes Ezo – Legislative Aide to the Majority Leader, Hon. Ifoghale Ogbe – Party Chairman, Otor Aviara, Mike Obarogbi – Publicity Secretary, Delta South Senatorial District, Hon. Lawrence Egogo – Former PDP DTHA aspirant, Hon. Saturday Ureghe – Former Aviara Clan Youths Governor, Hon. Jehoshaphat Odize – Aviara Ward 3 Secretary, Mrs. Sylvia Anyisire – Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Women Affairs, Hon. ThankGod Egboro, Hon. Joseph Uteh, Mr. Victor Anyisire – Legislative Aide to the Majority Leader.

Also present at the visitation were all Party exco members at the different levels of the State that are of Aviara descent.
