Palace Chief Shot Dead In Delta

Gunmen suspected to be assailants have reportedly shot dead a prominent chief of Ughievwen Kingdom, Olorogun Emmanuel Bikogha in Delta state.

www.bigpenngr.com understands the deceased was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of the state on Sunday.

Details of how the deceased who hails from Owawha town, Ughievwen Kingdom, was killed were still sketchy as of press time on Monday.

Sources said that the deceased was a cheerful, humble and honest family man with the traditional title of ‘echihigan’ of Ughievwen Kingdom.

Confirming the death, one of the palace chief who gave his name as Chief Freeborn Ayoma said that the deceased attacked by gunmen at the popular PTI junction on Sunday 21st August night at about 7:10pm.

State Police Public Relation Officer, DSP Bright Edafe was yet to make comment on the death as reports say effort to reach him for comment had prove abortive.
