Certificate Of Return: Siakpere Group Congratulates Delta PDP Guber Candidate, Oborevwori

  • Urges Deltans to remain steadfast

The Siakpere Group for Sheriff Oborevwori Governorship bid has congratulated the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, on the presentation of certificate of return to him as the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State.

The group, headed by Mr. John Ewhubare Siakpere, felicitated with Oborevwori, adding that his eventual emergence as the state’s Governor in the March 2023 general election was a fait accompli.

The national leadership of PDP had on Tuesday, June 7th, 2022, presented certificates of return to the Delta State PDP Governorship Candidate, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and his colleagues from other 35 states of the country, in Abuja following their victory in the primaries election of the party, held nationwide on May 25, 2022.

The group, in a statement issued by its Director-General, Mr. John Ewhubare Siakpere, expressed joy that the victory of Oborevwori in the May 25 primary had been given an official ratification by the National Working Commitee (NWC) of the PDP.

The group urged all Deltans to rally round the State PDP Governorship Candidate, Rt Hon Oborevwori in order to ensure his victory in the March 2023 governorship polls.

Siakpere, who is of the Okpe Urhobo stock with Rt Hon Oborevwori, urged his Okpe brothers and sisters, to continue to engage other Deltans and market the PDP governorship flagbearer in the nocks and crannies of the state.

Specifically, he assured that his group would spare no cost and leave no stone unturned to ensure that Rt Hon Oborevwori was elected and inaugurated as the state’s chief executive on May 29, 2023.

Siakpere said, “Members of Siakpere Group for Sheriff Oborevwori are happy and excited that the PDP at the National level has accorded Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, a well deserved recognition as the victorious candidate of the ruling PDP in Delta State. This is an inspiring development and a well-deserved honour.”

“We are imploring our Urhobo brothers and sisters and indeed all Deltans to remain steadfast and faithful in order to ensure a resounding victory for Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori in the March 2023 governorship election,” an elated Mr. Siakepere, added, in a statement he personally signed.
