Former Minister of State Education, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, has finally dumped the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) twenty-four years after being a founding member of the party in Delta state.

Gbagi who withdrew from the governorship race in Delta state few days to the primary had blamed Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his actions.

Specifically, he had alleged bribing of delegates and outright hijack of the process as his reasons from dropping his ambition under the PDP.

The former Minister, who announced his withdrawal in a letter to the National Chairman of the PDP, Iyorchia Ayu, alleged that his action was informed by intimidation and threat to his life by Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa.
